COOKING AT HOME REGULARLY VERSUS SAVING TIME WITH TAKE--OUT

      Cooking at home regularly is very good because people eat real food made with love on their own house, also people cook what they want and they add what they like, but is also good when people order from a restaurant because they save time, they just order what they want they will have the chance to try different types of food and they can spend the rest of the day doing something else.

  

     I strongly think that is better to cook at home regularly because this will make us have a good health. The food that we made at home is made by us or by someone in the family, so we know that is something that is going to be fresh and that is cook the right way. This will make people be healthier and live longer. Also cooking at home make people save money. I also understand the once in a while everybody likes to eat in restaurants which is also good because we try something new but is different because we are not eating from restaurants everyday so if the food is not fresh is not going to affect as much. 

         When people order from a restaurant they save a lot of time because they don't have to waste time cooking and they can spend their time doing something more important. The bad thing is that they spend more money because they have to buy food everyday, and also people don't know if the food is fresh, or healthy, because is made in a restaurant and they don't know what is inside the food. For example when i came to New York i used to lived by myself i did not know how to cook, so i had to buy food from a restaurant every day.After six months of eating from restaurants every day i got a lot of weight and i start having problems with my cholesterol. I had to diet for a while, but it was hard because i did not know if the food that i was going to eat was cook with a lot of grease. Now the my mother lives with me she cooks every day and i am not taking more medication for my cholesterol i lost a lot of weigh and i am saving a lot of money. 

      In conclusion its fun to eat from restaurant because we have the choice to try something new everyday but we also need to think on our health and on saving money but we can do it once in a while like for a special occasion , but if we are thinking on our regularly days is better to cook at home this way we will all live longer with good health and more money.

THE TRUMAN SHOW

    The Truman show syndrome name comes from the 1998 film The Truman Show.
When the author Colin Lecher Talks about this syndrome she is trying to explain that people had always imagine things that are not real but our culture change what those things are.

     People from different countries have there own believes, their own way to dress their language which it means that every country is almost a different world, but i don't agree when a human  or someone else tries to control other people life for example the situation that Venezuela is living right now.
 
       In Venezuela the president wants to control all the citizens which all the people from that country doesn't want. This controversial is causing a lot of violence and a lot of death people. The people from different countries watch the news and they get to inform their selves about the bad situation that this country is living. On the film of Truman show Cristof created and  control Truman's life so everything that it was happening in his life was planned by him. Also in all the worlds people was watching his life.

      I strongly think that everybody in this world have the Truman show syndrome because we all try to follow someone else. In my case i fallow my big cousins life. My cousin studied, she graduated, she got married after she was a professional. My cousin and her husband bought a house and after they were sure that they were going to be able to take care of someone else that's when they decided to have a baby. She lives in Colombia but i always call her and i ask her for advises so i can do good in life.

    I always try to follow my cousin because my family always teach us how to progress and not to depend from someone else. In my culture usually the people want to be rich, but in a easy way, for example the girls they just try to get a drug dealer as a boyfriend or husband. They get to have all the material things that they want but at the end if they are not in jail they died. In my family since we were little they teach us that if we want to have a good life, we will need to plan and prepare to work hard for a life that we can get what we want. I know that when i get my children i would teach them the same thing so they would always learn or fallow my cousins steps because she is a good example of progress.

       We will always have someone to follow is because we think that this person had a good result in progress. We normally try to fallow a famous person or someone from the family. Thanks to technology or to believes of our culture we create our story in our life,which we don't know if is good or we are going to fell.

The Perfect World.

                 In the Truman show Cristof creates a "perfect world" and is call Sea Haven so he can live "happily ever after" .When i compare this to my life is totally different because the firs thing the i see so perfect in Sea haven is the good relationship the he used to have with his neighbors. In my real life i have been living in the same apartment for five years, and i don't even know the person the lives next to me. Also in my leisure time i like to try new things along with my family, and this was something the Truman was never able to do. I think Truman was getting tired of the routine and he just decided to try something different.

                    I would not like to live in Cristof's  world  Sea Haven first because i would not be able to go to a different place other than Sea Haven i would feel like a prisoner. The second reason is because my life would be control by someone else and i wouldn't have my own privacy , in this case Cristof was controlling Truman's life all the time and he did not had privacy at all. The third thing is that if i was living in Cristof's world i would be wasting my life because everything is fake, and my life would be surround of fake people because there all actors,and they are not the people that i though they were and i would be affected psychological.

Individual Groups

SUMMARY

       Most of the people have different reactions when there is a disaster or danger,when they are individuals or in a group. According to the author Carol Tavris people that is in a group become lazier, they don't react fast because they think the someone else can do it, but if the person is alone become more responsible and try to find a way to fix the problem. In my opinion people react faster when they are in a group,because they see more people that can start helping to prevent that something bad happen.

      When people in my country in Colombia are in groups it seems that they help more or they react faster, when there is a disaster or a danger. My mother and i  had a experience when we were living there, we went to a dangerous neighborhood which we did not know that it was so dangerous. I was with my Ippod in my hand and there was a guy following us and he was getting close to us to rob us, but at the same time a group of five people from across the street came to us like if they knew us, so the guy that was trying to rob us went away and thank God nothing bad happen. One person from the group explain us that it was very dangerous to walk around there, with out a person that they know.This maybe happen because the people that they were in group they knew each other so they decided to help us. If is a group of people that they don't know each other they can act different because there is no one to give instructions on how are they going to help.
 
       With my experience i think that when there is more people around we should react faster because there is a lot of people that is able to help and we will prevent bad things to happen. In this case my mother and i did not get hurt thanks to this five people because they came to u to defend us.

      In conclusion people have there own way to act when they are alone or they are with other people around.This is because they have they nature of individual or they nature of groups. When they are in groups people become lazier because they think that others can help, but when the people is alone they try to do anything they can as faster as they can to help.

I KNOW THE TRUE SO DON'T BOTHER ME WITH FACTS

  
           Everybody have their own believes and their own facts without thinking or knowing if is true or  false. According to Jeffrey Kluger the adapter of ' I Know the Truth, so Don't bother me with facts," Kelly Garrett and Erik Nisbet  did a new study and their conclusion was   that its easy to manipulate peoples belief systems with insinuating pictures or inflammatory quotes. I  agree because most of the people believe in things by rumors or facts, which I understand because they could be a lot of things that they learn or know by facts and rumors but they are not interested enough to find the true.

           In my experience one belief that I have is in my religion I am catholic and since I was little my mother used to tell me that every time that I want to to thank god or ask for something I was supposed to do it in front of a frame with a picture of god .Now that I understand more of religion and I speak with people from other religions, it is a strong belief that if we pray in front of the image god is going to help us. People from other religions say that when catholic people do that is because they are believing or putting their hope on the image not on god. Which I agree but my family said that their fine and they have everything they want because they pray that way. Which I don't know what to think, but because all catholic people say it, they make people believe is true. Which I don't agree with them because I pray in any place and I believe that God listens to me.


             In conclusion people are easily distracted by rumors and facts with out knowing if they are true or false. if people have their own believes is very hard to make them change their way of thinking .

     
                                                                  HYPE

              Advertisements on this days are use in a very intensive way or different ways, such as TV,radio,or interactive screens. Most of the things that people use on a daily bases has a logo or a product message that it had been show on TV or interactive screens.

             In the USA the economy is very important this is why different companies are doing as much as they can to sell a lot and make more money,this is why they are trying to get a lot of advertisements to make a lot of publicity of their own products. For the people the lives in the USA is normal to see the same commercial in different things, such as a paper or on TV hear the advertisement in the radio or on a  interactive screen. Even when people is at home everything that they use have a logo or a product message that it's been heard on the radio or seen on TV. In my case my day off all i do is clean the house and listen to the radio, when i'm cleaning the house the products that i used i'm always listening to the advertisement of the same product or the competition, that is the same thing with a different brand,name and logo.
           
                 Advertisements are helpful for people because when people wants to buy something most of the times the have the same product but with a different log or brand that people get to choose what they think is better.This way people get what they like. Advertisements are also good for the companies because they get to get better on the advertisement and the product so people can prefer them, and that will make them a good choice thanks to the commercial and this will make them grow each day.
     
                   In conclusion advertisements can help the economy in the country  the companies and also can help all people that lives in the country. For the country bring more money for the country if the advertisements is very good can spread around the world and it will become a popular company.For the people is very helpful because they get to know new things and try them, and choose what they think is better for them.
